Maria Loth
Influenced by her father, an architect; Maria pursued an art oriented career. She received a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago, and then majored in commercial and fine art at Eastern Illinois University.
A natural entrepreneur, she began her design career opening M.D. Design, focusing on model homes in the southwest suburbs. She continued her design career at several Naperville studios, lending her expert knowledge of interior design and drapery.
With expanding clientele, she opened Material Things Design Studio which gave her clients the full attention they deserve. Maria’s clients agree her designs are unique, setting them apart from others.
She participated in several “Cavalcade of Homes”, and earned numerous awards. Her work has been featured in Midwest Home Magazine and other publications.
Maria offers her clients a vast variety of choices to accommodate their needs; including styles such as contemporary, traditional, eclectic and transitional.
Her desire is to make her client feel their experience is unique and enlightening, thus creating a space they will treasure for a life time.
